In 2010, the ‘Aber is Green’ event was supported by CF and was a great success. The event focused on recycled clothing and included a fashion show at the Bandstand on the Promenade in Aberystwyth.
An additional event ‘Penparcau is Green’ was also held to coincide with Aber is Green. This event was fully supported by CF and focused on teaching skills such as sewing, cooking with leftover, fixing a bicycle. Approximately 110 people attended the Penparcau event, staying for most of the day with substantial numbers experiencing the events at the Bandstand in Aberystwyth.
